As a designer, I work at the intersection of technology and social innovation to design products, services, and communities that have a positive social impact. I’m currently the Human-Centered Design and User Experience Specialist at the Center for Court Innovation and consult for Health Information Project and Towards Justice.
As a storyteller, I write about race, masculinity, mental health, and the immigrant experience. I’ve worked with I’ll Go First, a digital mental health nonprofit organization, to produce their podcast telling stories of trauma, healing, and resilience, and to produce two cohorts of a BIPOC + first- and second-generation storytelling intensive workshop, in partnership with The Moth.
As a comedian, I tell jokes about all of the above. 🙃 I’ve had the honor of performing a comedic story for a Moth showcase at the Williamsburg Music Hall and eight minutes of stand-up comedy for a showcase at The People’s Improv Theater.
Work from the past
I’ve consulted with over 30+ technology-enabled startups and organizations across sectors including urban farming, housing, childcare, and city open data, and worked with organizations like Techstars, the New York City Mayor’s Office of Data Analytics, and the Robinhood Foundation on digital strategy.
I previously co-founded Collectively, a product design studio and community for social entrepreneurs building socially impactful technology, and co-taught ‘Introduction to Entrepreneurship’ at my alma mater, Binghamton University.
